Fertilizer for conifers
Zielony Dom Conifer Fertilizer is a granular mineral fertilizer based on potassium sulfate, designed for fertilizing coniferous plants that prefer an acid reaction of the soil, i.e. spruces, pines, firs, thuyas, junipers, Douglas firs, yews, cypresses, larches. It is also suitable for azaleas, rhododendrons (azaleas) and heathers.
Properly selected proportions of macro- and micro-nutrients ensure optimal growth and development of plants, as well as prevent browning of needles. Iron and magnesium contained in the fertilizer affect the intensity of coloration. The form of granules and the appropriate composition of nutrients cause that they are released gradually, so the fertilizer has a long-lasting effect.
Use from March to the end of August.
Evenly spread the appropriate amount of fertilizer (according to the table) on the edge of the crown of the plant, in the zone of fine roots (not at the trunk!). After application, if possible, the fertilizer should be lightly mixed with the topsoil, and then watered generously. It is best to fertilize plants 2 times in the growing season, with the last fertilization recommended by the end of August. The dose of fertilizer depends on the age and size of the tree or shrub.
